Network Infrastructure
Design, operation, and optimization of networks that support large-scale telecommunication services.
Researching the foundational systems and platforms that support Telkom Indonesia's network operations and service delivery.
ISR Lab (Infrastructure Service and Research) is a laboratory under Oasis Lab dedicated to research on infrastructure services: the foundational systems and platforms that support Telkom Indonesia's network operations and service delivery. This infrastructure is what keeps digital services reliable, secure, and scalable for millions of users.
We examine how infrastructure is designed, built, operated, and optimized, from networks, servers, and data centers to cloud and virtualization platforms, as well as monitoring and operational automation. Our approach treats infrastructure not merely as hardware, but as a service whose quality must be measurable, easy to manage, and ready to grow.
At ISR, research goes hand in hand with practice. Members work in environments that resemble real operational conditions: building and testing platforms, analyzing service performance and availability, designing automation, and evaluating system security and resilience. The results are studies, prototypes, and recommendations that can be put into practice.
The laboratory is open to students, lecturers, and industry partners who want to collaborate, from joint research and final-project supervision to technical training and case studies based on real operational needs.
